About Us

Serving all local areas, Robert Waddington’s Village Undertakers believe in respecting your wishes because not all funerals should be the same.

I offer a range of unique traditional, simple, and no-frills funerals along with environmentally friendly options too. See the prices page. If you don’t see what you’re looking for this doesn’t mean it can’t be done!

Whether it’s a burial or a cremation Village Undertakers aim to provide a local, trusted, and personalised funeral service for you and your family.

With no hidden costs or surprises, I’m here to support and guide you through one of the toughest times in life.

My guarantee: I won’t draw you in with “too good to be true prices” and then add on extras and fees later.

He has completed the Pennine Way, Coast to Coast Walk, and a trek to Everest Base Camp for The Anthony Nolan Trust.
This summer Robert and daughter Ruth took on the challenge of a 26 mile trek in the Yorkshire Dales to support the work of Alzheimers Society together raising over £1000. The picture here doesn’t show the sore feet!
